Review on Karl Marx book Manifesto of the Communist Party
Disclaimer: This review is made with an intention to give an overview about this book as per my intellectual capability and from a beginners point of view. If your opinions are different than mine or my opinions are wrong and not withstanding to yours then, it's a subjective thing and depends on person to person.
Many political leaders and philosophers have read this book and its the most recommended book, so thought of giving it a try and reading it out, I downloaded its free PDF available online and started reading it. The language used is quite difficult to understand with a different style of writing which I'm not used to and not familiar with. This review is from my own point of view, I'm not a professional critic or has a degree in English literature, this is from my understanding of the book and nothing else. I am not saying that you should have a degree to understand this book. Maybe age factor helps to understand the political nature of the book.
So before reading this I've had many questions in my mind about what is communist leftist is, so I searched on internet about it and I understood what it is :).
Now comes to reviewing this book, It has 4 chapters the first one is about bourgeoisie and proletariat, kind of heavy words for me to understand but got it after reading the footnotes. Personally i did not understand the whole context but got an idea about what it is. It is about the discrimination which took place during the medieval times and its still constant in the form of bourgeoisie (rich people employer of proletariats) and proletariat(working class people, employees of bourgeoisie) .Knowing the fact that it was published in 1848 , i can perceive it's old writing style but seriously hard to understand. Then he talks about modern bourgeoisie societies and how the proletarian with industries, free trade and the difference in the society between the capitalist and socialist ideology.
This book is a public manifesto published during the election and contains few pages as well. Although in the whole of the reviee I have given stress about a review from my perspective. As I grow older and I start to understand the principles with more detail I would definitely re-review it in the future. Hope you guys like my take on an extraordinary piece of literature still glorifying as one of the best books in history.
