Badminton Courts in Mumbai

I’m a big badminton enthusiast and I've written a review on the badminton book its link is here, so this post will help others like me to find an indoor badminton court to practice their skills. I had been playing at outdoor court for a year now, and recently had been searching for an indoor badminton court in Mumbai. And here are the courts that I found.

Dharavi Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex

This place is situated just as the Dharavi road starts it’s beside the BEST head office. This complex also has 2 swimming pools and has other sports activities too. On the second floor there’s DSO office. As regard to badminton you will need to enquire the time and fees at the reception at the right hand side of the entrance on the ground floor. The timings are a bit odd but if it suits to someone then they should absolutely not miss this place. The receptionist had said that there are 2 wooden courts and all the equipments including shuttle cocks have to be carried by us. Being a govt regulated place the fees are very reasonable. Coaching is available as well.

Kalina Air India Sports Club


This place is just beside the air port gate in kalina near the military camp. It has a green carpeted court. Most of the time this place is booked but if you are lucky, you can get to play. If you want to play with your buddies, its 400 rupees for an hour. There is coaching as well and the timing is 4 pm to 5 pm. As there is only one court, getting to play is kind of difficult.

Parle Mahila Sang Sports Club


This place is near Gajalee on a turn at hanuman road. It has many other activities other than badminton. The enquiry and fees payment is held till 6.30 pm so u better go there before 6. 30. There are 2 full size green carpet courts and a half court to practice. The place is in the basement and looks very huge. It is at Parle between many schools and colleges and a residential area. Finding vacancy is very hard as this place is always packed.



            There are other places too than the above given like Khar Willingdon Gymkhana, ANDHERI Gymkhana and many other reputable gymkhanas and sports clubs. To bring to your notice that these places and their timings and fees given above may change and I won’t be responsible for it. This places are legit, one can go there and enquire for more information.

Review of the book Maharani By Ruskin Bond / Everything bee knows

After reading his book Time stops at Shamli I became a fan of Ruskin Bonds writing style. The book cover is really fancy and will definitely attract a girl who's more into gossip or a socialite type person. Whereas I’m nothing like that still it fascinated me. Completed in 2 days or so in between my exam preparation lolz(thats how i study). Appearance wise looks big but the content matter on a page was less due to huge margins, not a huge con though. This story is fiction as Ruskin mentions and narrated by him. He is a character in the story and talks about his friend Maharani H.H. (Her Highness) who was a widow with a totally dysfunctional family both of her sons wanted to kill her for property and money

Book review by Everything bee knows : The Meluhan Shiva trilogy The Oath of the Vayuputras and The Secrets of the Nagas novels by Amish Tripathi  It's been a long time I had done a book review. Though I've been regularly reading books meanwhile. I came across some famous Indian authors with mythological content which was a delight to read. Today I have a review of the book which I've been craving to read and luckily got it from my friend who is also an ardent book lover and book collector, her name is Pu. So I happen to read the 2nd and 3rd books of the Meluhan trilogy which  were t he Secrets of Nagas and the Oath of the Vayuputras.
