Unrequited what? One way route? No no!

Unrequited what?

Well, just as the adjective only goes with the word love, unrequited love means one sided love. You might wonder why this topic? Everyone has to go through it especially for the crushes. And if you think you haven't, LIAR!!!


So it went on like, my friend had a bit dynamic relationship. She felt for a guy a fricking lot. The guy reciprocates back. So you would ask what's the issue in this? Well, till now it seems mutual, however the boy flips. Things go downhill and "flippers ain't stickers" is what the sassy me said to her.


Everyone has their own sets and standards to define what love means to one and there's no wrong to it. But when things happen only from one side, people's emotions are taken lightly, past experiences and insecurities stand in front of decision making etc. This all sums to being scared of the unknown things and dismissing the prior said words. Once you dive into the ocean, there can be no inhibition about the past and future, this things have to thought out before hand.


At the same time, while conversation is the key for a meaningful relationship, whatever blurted out should be real and said with true intentions. Things said with true and honest intentions can't be forgotten or changed later on. It can be changed or rather flipped flopped (estoppel in law...no remedy for change of statements) , trust level goes down and repeatedly behaviour leads to an end of things.


I suggested my friend, give some time to it, let things settle down and see if you really feel for such intensely demanding and unrequited love. Let it not test you, because you aren't something to be tested. Understand what has happened and be open with communication. Let him know what he's done, if he's understood his mistake and want to reconcile with true intention think about second chance. If no, wish good fortunes for future and continue with normal routine. There is no dearth of people with population of 7bil and ever increasing.


I hope just like my friend, even you would have benefited or atleast re-visited a moment of your life. I would like to leave you guys with a golden message, one sided love is utter nonsense, better to get going then burdening yourself with it. Be liberal and let it go. Hope you have a good day .
