       In college, I had got an opportunity of reviewing a book through book review competition. I wanted to review a book and I took advantage of that opportunity and participated for it. Also I thought even if I lose in the competition, it will be beneficial for me because I would get a chance of reading a book and gaining knowledge from it. So only gain and no loss. I saw the list of the books suggested for the competition and they were all written by great personalities, so I chose Dr Abdul Kalam's autobiography book because I wanted to know more about his childhood and his journey throughout his life. On the occasion of first anniversary of my blog or say my first post on this blog, I'm writing a short thanking post and a looking back sort of post to remember a gorgeous blogging year i had. It had been a great year since I had started my blog. Ruined by Paula Morris First of all this book was given to me by my sweetest friend. I would like to say thanks to her for lending her book and letting me read a whimsical story of which I’m going to review in detail below. Ruined as the name suggests, this book is absolutely based on stories which has a very intricate and complex background which creates present problems. The protagonist is a sixteen year old girl Rebecca whose life comes to a turn when her dad decides to go out of the country in china for work and sends her to her close to a stranger aunty in New Orleans. Unrequited what? Well, just as the adjective only goes with the word love, unrequited love means one sided love. You might wonder why this topic? Everyone has to go through it especially for the crushes . And if you think you haven't, LIAR !!! So it went on like, my friend had a bit dynamic relationship. She felt for a guy a fricking lot. The guy reciprocates back. So you would ask what's the issue in this? Well , till now it seems mutual, however the boy flips. After reading his book Time stops at Shamli I became a fan of Ruskin Bonds writing style. The book cover is really fancy and will definitely attract a girl who's more into gossip or a socialite type person. Whereas I’m nothing like that still it fascinated me. Completed in 2 days or so in between my exam preparation lolz(thats how i study). Appearance wise looks big but the content matter on a page was less due to huge margins, not a huge con though. This story is fiction as Ruskin mentions and narrated by him. He is a character in the story and talks about his friend Maharani H.H.
